Cliff Thomas Stewart

Cliff T. Stewart 55 of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at his residence.

He was born October 1, 1958 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Kenneth and Virginia Stewart and has been a resident of the area since 1986 moving here from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Cliff was a telephone technician for Verizon for 18 years. He had a great love for his dog, Brandy and had a passion for music, playing guitar, grilling and Hot Rods; he was an animal lover, enjoyed going to the beach and was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Stewart. Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Virginia Stewart of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Brittany Stewart and husband Craig Hicks of Jacksonville; son, Brandon Stewart of Jacksonville; sister, Devon Roger and husband Ron Rogers of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Caisen and Aria Hicks; dog, Brandy; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 6:00pm Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Father Thomas C. Seitz officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Polk County Humane Society 555 Sage Rd, Winter Haven, Florida 33881.
