Cleveland E. Mcclure

Cleveland E. (Gene) McClure, Sr., went to his home with Our Lord, July 13, 2012. He was born in Cairo, WV but spent most of his life in Clay County, WV. For the past 8 years,Lake Wales, Fl has been his home. He was blessed to have worked in a field he loved, the oil and gas business.

He was preceded in death by parents, Percy and Edith McClure and his beloved wife of 46 years, Sybil Young McClure.

He is survived by his wife Carol Hill-Jackson) McClure. They began 1st grade together and 50 years later, at a high school class reunion, they met again. God brought them togetehr for 10 awesome years, and then He took Gene home to be with Him.

His children, Andrea (Ann) Anderson and Cleveland E. (Dusty) McClure, Jr. and grandchildren, Matt, Sarah, Sean, and Erin and great grandchildren Dalton and Brooklyn.

The funeral will be at the Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin, WV, Saturday, July 21. Viewing will be at 10AM and the funeral will be at 11AM. He will be buried at the King Cemetery in Bomont, WV.
