LAKE WALES--Claudie Mae Mauldin, 97, of Lake Wales died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her residence.

Born April 29, 1909 in Walton County, FL; she came here from Walton County in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Mauldin, and daughter, Tina Bryant. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Hall of Lake Wales; son, Bennie Mauldin of Lake Wales; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 16, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 1285 South 1st Street, Winter Haven, Florida 33880.
