INDIAN LAKE ESTATES -- Mrs. Clara Thomas of Indian Lake Estates died of heart failure Sunday (Feb. 26, 2006) at Winter Haven Health and Rehab. She was 88.

Born in Johnson City, N.Y., on Dec. 24, 1917, she came to Indian Lake Estates from West Palm Beach 2 1/2 years ago. She was a retired accountant for Ozlid Corp. in Johnson City. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star in Johnson City. She was a member of the Indian Lake Estates Garden Club. She was a member of Indian Lake Estates United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Edward I. Thomas. She is survived by her son, Donald E. Thomas, Indian Lake Estates, one grandson and one great-grandson.
