Clara A Durden

Clara A. Durden, 90, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at The Grove Center.

She was born May 17, 1928 in Calhoun County, Florida to the late Charles L. and Mary C. (Chasen) Adkins and she has been a resident of this area since 1957 moving here from Calhoun County, Florida. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Durden in 1981; daughter, Evelyn Byrd; son, Jimmie H. Durden; brother, George Adkins; sister, Mae Conley; 2 Grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, James E. Durden of New Mexico; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
