Claire T. Lee

Claire Theresa Leblanc Lee, 93, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida.

Claire was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts on August 28, 1929. She was married to Robert (Bob) S. Lee of Woonsocket, Rhode Island on November 17, 1952, before relocating to Florida and raising their family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Celia Leblanc, her sister, Irene Croke, and her husband, Robert S. Lee.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Deborah Lee-Gonzalez (Sergio), Susan Lee, and James M. Lee (Wendy). She was loved by her three granddaughters, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Later in life, she enjoyed spending time with her family in Vero Beach, Tampa, and Winter Haven. She was an avid sports fan of golf, the New England Patriots, and the Tampa Bay Rays.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claire’s name to the American Cancer Society.

A Funeral Mass and Inurnment of Ashes in the Columbarium will be held 9:00 AM Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Winter Haven, FL.
