Cindy Lou Dubose Monk

Cindy Lou DuBose Monk, 64 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

She was born on March 31, 1953 in Avon Park Florida to the late Lowell and Carolyn (Witt) DuBose, Sr and she has been a resident of this area for 30 years moving here from Avon Park. Cindy loved taking care of her yard, flowers and camping and she was of the protestant Faith.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Lowell Y. DuBose, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Marvette Monk, step daughter, Tammy MacCurrach and her husband Brian of Lake Wales; sons, Donald Wayne Sisemore of Babson Park, Dustin DuBose Lee and wife Brittany of Frostproof, Jarrod Witt Lee and wife McKenzie of Frostproof, Mark Howard Lee of Frostproof, step son, Joey Monk and wife Cynthia of Sebring; sisters, Diane Anderson of Lake Wales, Jeannine Ledford and husband David of Lafayette, Ga., Laura Thomas and husband Jim of Kinston, AL; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Silver Hill Cemetery with Rev. James B. Wood officiating.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
