Christopher Jefferies

Chris Jefferies of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born November 26, 1975 in Bartow, Florida to Robert and Myrtle Jefferies. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a carpentry wood worker for 10 years in Martinsville, Indiana. He was passionate about music, was artistic and was known as a very ‘real’ person.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Jefferies; grandfathers Leo McGhee and James Jefferies and grandmother Dorothy Jefferies.

Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Leesha Jefferies; daughter, Delane Jefferies of Indiana; son, Brady Underwood of Frostproof, FL; mother, Myrtle Jefferies of Lake Wales; sister, Kristin Jefferies of Bartow, Florida; brother, Ricky Jefferies of San Diego, California; grandmother Kathleen McGhee of Frostproof, FL and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home – Frostproof chapel with Pastor Victor Gaddy and Deacon Michael Lang officiating.
