Christine Ann Faircloth, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was born on August 11, 1955, in Rockford, Illinois. She left this world peacefully on January 3, 2026, at Winter Haven Hospital. Her passing occurred during the wolf moon, a time that held special significance for her, as she had a deep affection for wolves.
Throughout her life, Christine had a fulfilling career as a lead equipment operator at Alcoma and later Citrosuco, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. Outside of her professional life, Christine had many interests that brought her joy. She loved puzzles, listened to music, and enjoyed visiting the casino. Playing games was another passion of hers, and she even participated in dart tournaments, showcasing her competitive spirit. Christine cherished her family above all else, particularly her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Schmidt of Frostproof and Christina Boland with her husband Keith of Lakeland; her son, Thaddeus Faircloth, who was her favorite, along with his wife Betsy, of Ottawa, Kansas. In addition, Christine is survived by her brother, Vince Frazier and his wife Deanna of Lake Wales, along with several grandchildren, including Priseis, Mason, Magdalena, Ralissa, Lex, Shawn, and Tina.
Christine was predeceased by her husband, Carroll Eugene Faircloth.
Visitation will be held on January 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
