Chloe Sullivan

Clorinda "Chloe" (Bonfiglio) Sullivan of Lake Wales and Coldwater, MI passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Drew's Place in Coldwater, MI.

She was born January 7, 1913 in Coldwater, MI to the late Anthony and Julia Bonfiglio. She graduated from St. Charles High School in Coldwater in 1931. She earned her teaching degree from Sienna Heights College and her Masters in Education from the University of Michigan. Chloe really enjoyed children, teaching mainly 4th grade in Coldwater and Adrian Public Schools for a total of 32 years, retiring in 1975. After her retirement she moved to Lake Wales, where she was an active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She volunteered at the Lake Wales Hospital and enjoyed arts and crafts. Chloe returned to the Coldwater area after spending 30 years in Florida.

Chloe was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Carl Miller and 2nd James Sullivan, and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her half brother Arthur Bonfiglio of Battle Creek, MI; 13 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
