Cheryl M. Wilson

Sherry M. Wilson of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born August 2, 1947 in Winter Haven; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a health care secretary and of the Christian faith. She loved college football, especially the Seminoles. She enjoyed deep sea fishing, yard work and the outdoors.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Christine Bryant. Survivors include her son, Roger L. & Kim Wilson of Benson, NC; father, Robert S. & Betty Hamburg of Orlando; brother, Jeffrey L. & Eugenia Hamburg of Dunn, NC; sister, Carol M. & Griffin Crosby Jr of Lake Wales; three grandchildren, Morgan, Krystal and RJ; and one great-grandson, Ace.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until the memorial service at 6:00 PM, Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
