Charles Stanton Young, 86

Charles Stanton Young of Parrish, Florida passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

He was born December 25, 1933 in McClure, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Edna Young. Stanton was retired as the owner of McClure Insurance Agency. He was actively involved in the community with the Fire Department, Ambulance Department, and the McClure Cemetery Association. Stanton enjoyed horses, golf, and fishing.

Stanton is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan Young; children, Debra Ludlum (Raymond) of Ellenton, Florida, Retired Major Charles Young, Jr. (Karla) of Milton, Florida, Tami Mikulecky (John) of Allen Town, Pennsylvania, and Drew Young (Debra) of Beaver Springs, Pennsylvania; sisters, Nancy L. Erb (Michael) of Saline, Michigan, and Molly Hassinger (George) of Newport, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be scheduled at a later date in Pennsylvania.
