Charles M. Whetsell

Charles M. Whetsell of Frostproof passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Florida Hospital in Sebring.

He was born July 7, 1941 in Maryville, TN to the late Andrew Eugene & Dorothy Jean Whetsell; and he came here from Boynton Beach in 2006. He was the retired owner/operator of Whetsell Landscape Maintenance in Delray Beach and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Frostproof. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and Nascar.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Whetsell; daughter, Lisa Whetsell Brackett of Vero Beach; son, Greg Whetsell and his wife, Karen of Boynton Beach; sister, Norma Jean Carpenter of Morristown, TN; and three granddaughters, Savannah Whetsell, Reagan Brackett and Bailey Brackett.

The family will receive friends 10:00 am until the memorial service at 11:00 am Monday, August 5, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Frostproof with Rev. Buzzy Elder officiating.
