Charles O. Thomas, 92, of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Dove Health Care.

Born January 18, 1916 in Little Rock, AR; he came here from Arizona in 1975. He was the owner/operator of a restaurant and the manager of the Econo Lodge for 18 years. He was an avid traveler and liked to drive. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals.

Survivors include his son, Phillip C. Thomas of Frankfort, IL; Ron Thomas of Lake Wales; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
