Charles Frederick Sweet

Charles Frederick Sweet of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Winter Haven Hospital. He was born September 24, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles and Ella Sweet; he came to Lake Wales from Apopka 10 years ago. He retired from Texaco after 26 years and then was the owner/operator of Charles Sweet Consultants. He was a member of the Vet's Club. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Beverly Sweet; sons, Daniel Sweet (Jodi) of Sanford and Todd Sweet (Claudia) of Sarasota; sister, Stephanie Hayes (Eddie) of Holbrook, NY; brother, Bruce Sweet (Mimi) of Rochester, NY; and four grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Jeffrey B. Kantz officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salvation Army.
