Charles Thomas “Chuck” Smith, Jr.

Charles Thomas “Chuck” Smith, Jr.  of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

He was born June 4, 1957 in Winter Haven to the late Charles Thomas and Doris Overbee Smith; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired equipment mechanic and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He liked to fish, hunt, go air boat riding, and anything outdoor and in the woods. He loved nature.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Judy Ann Smith; daughter, Amanda Smith; sisters, Alice Louise Smith of Wauchula, Judy Gail Smith of Orlando and Carol Yates (Lonnie) of Bristol; brother, Jeff Smith of Quincy; and one granddaughter, Isabella.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
