Charles Arial Perry of Frostproof passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home.

He was born December 8, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ira and Dorothy Perry; he moved to Frostproof from Vero Beach six years ago. Charles was a mechanic for Budweiser and a veteran of the United States Army who served in Korea. He used to cut his neighbor’s grass and was known for his “Charley Burgers”. He was loving and friendly and never met a stranger. Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and great grandfather.

Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lynda Perry; children, Charles Arial Perry, Jr. (Lori Cutter) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Wanda Theresa Drake (Mark) of Independence, Missouri, Tina Marie Cressley (Roger Theis) of Frostproof, Larry Wayne Perry of Wisconsin, Karl Andrew Drake (Emily) of Georgetown, Texas, and Matthew Allen Drake (Jordan) of Independence, Missouri; a sister, Ann Voth of UP, MI;  17 grandchildren; and 8 greatgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
