Charles Robert Myers

Charles Myers, 96, passed away at the Dove Health Care Center in Lake Wales on Sunday, September 14, 2008.

He was a retired Telegrapher with the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, loved to make pine needle baskets to give away and was proud to have been baptized in the Jordan River.

He is survived by his son Terry Myers and his wife Judy; sister Norma Lynn, Littleton, New Hampshire and 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with services being held on Wednesday, Sept 17 at 10:00 AM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Pastor Ronnie Abshire will officiate. Interment will be private and will take place in Ocala at the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
