CHARLES R. MOORE, 87
Charles R. Moore of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his residence.
He was born November 20, 1929 in Bradenton, Florida to the late Cecil R. and Cora O. (Wood) Moore. He has been a resident of the area for many years. He was a Supervisor of a line crew with Florida Power for 30 years. He was in the National Guard. Charles was a member of the Polk County Bee Keepers Association and Wood Workers club in Polk County. He was a member and Deacon of West Side Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son Grant Moore and daughter in law Gail Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Ann Moore, daughter Dedra LaSalle and husband Michael of Lakeland, FL, Son Alan Moore of Babson Park, FL, brothers Larry Moore of Georgia, James Moore and wife Karen of Williston, FL, 5 grandchildren Samantha, Corrie, Travis, Mikey, Jacob and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
