LAKE WALES -- Mr. Charles William Mitchem of Lake Wales died of heart failure Sunday (Aug. 13, 2006). He was 62.

Born Nov. 14, 1943, in Orlando, Mr. Mitchem moved to Lake Wales from Auburndale ten years ago.

Mr. Mitchem is survived by his brothers, Thomas R. Mitchem, Pennsylvania, Richard A. Mitchem, Bartow; sister, Effie C. Langford, Bartow.
