Charles Albert Martin was born on July 14, 1939, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the Life Care Center in Winter Haven.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he found comfort and community. Charles had a gentle love for fish, a hobby that brought him calm and joy throughout his years.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Maggie "Liz" Martin; sister-in-law, Josie Hardy; sons, Joseph Martin, Raymond Martin, and Phillip Martin; and grandchild, Lori.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darius and Shirley Martin, and his sister, Jeanette Morgan.
