Charles Leon Lytle, 92, of Lake Wales passed Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born June 8, 1922 in Ogdensburg, New York to the late Albert and Gladys (Kirkey) Lytle and has been a resident of this area since 1991 moving here from Middletown, New York. He was a retired Aircraft Mechanic with the US Air Force. Charles was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, life member of the VFW, Mason, D.R.A. and Pearl Harbor Survivor, he was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in US Army and US Air Force. He was a member of Impact Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Butler Lytle in 1982, second wife, Constance Richards Lytle in 2007 and infant son, Charles Lytle.
Survivors include his sister, Alma Lytle of Massena, New York; nephew, Ronald Sharlow of Massena, New York; step children and step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am until service time.
