Charles Tallman Johnson

Charles Tallman Johnson of Lake Wales passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Mission Hospital in Ashville, NC.

He was born December 14, 1942 in Bartow to the late Noeh Duncan and Agnes Vera Johnson; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was retired from McDonald Construction and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Wales.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles T. Johnson, Jr and a brother, Donnie Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Faye Johnson; daughters, Susan Ann Daniels (Edward) of Enigma, GA, Rosalie “Marie” Johnson (Shaun ) of Lake Wales and Desirae Rodriguez (BJ) of Lake Wales; sons, Johnny Wayne Johnson of Lake Wales, Jerry Pulliam, Jr (Mary) of Madison, Terry Wayne Pulliam of Lake Wales and Charles Noah Johnson, II of Lake Wales; brothers, Mark Johnson (Janie) of Welaka, Ronnie Johnson of Lake Wales and Norman Johnson (Darlene) of Lake Wales; sisters, Kathryn Braddy of Lake Wales, Wanda Bush of Lake Wales; Mary Harper (Austin) of Lake Wales and Joyce Rodgers (William) of Lake Wales; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 and the funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
