Charles Thomas Green

Charles Thomas Green, 87 of Lake Wales, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Winter Haven, Fl.

He was born May 20, 1926 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Olen and Lenora (Houck) Green and has been a resident of the area since 1975 coming here from Springfield, OH. He was a construction contractor. Charles attended the South Lake Wales Church of God, served on Church Boards, Board of Trustees at Warner University, board at Lake Wales Care Center, and received a distinguished award from Warner University. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years Norma Green; daughters, Cheryl G. Mathias (John) of Winter Haven, Dori K. Harris (Randy) Auburndale; brothers, Lawrence Green (Mae) ,Paul Green (Norma) both families of Springfield, OH, Bernard Green (Teresa) of Enon, OH., Darrell Green (Dorothy) Port Charlotte ; 4 Granddaughters and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 12,2014 at the South Lake Wales Church of God with the Rev. James Burchett officiating.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time.
