Charles Earl Fosdyck

Charles Earl Fosdyck, born on April 30, 1949, in Macomb, Illinois, passed away on February 7, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales. He was a beloved husband, step-father, grandfather, and brother, cherished by many.

Charles enjoyed a fulfilling life filled with a variety of interests. He was a proud member of the Lions Club in Colchester, Illinois, where he contributed to his community with dedication. He had a shopsmith in Illinois where he enjoyed working on things.

In his leisure time, Charles found joy in playing cards at the clubhouse, hitting the golf course, and cooking delicious meals. He was also an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, sharing his passion for the game with those around him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Forrest Fosdyck, and his siblings, Carol, Richard, and Gene. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Fosdyck, whom he shared 14 wonderful years with, and his step-children, Jessica Swisegood and her husband Andrew, as well as Chris Swisegood and his wife Michelle. Charles is also remembered by his sister, Sandy Bolinger, three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
