Charles Robert Fitzpatrick Jr., 69

Charles Robert Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Ft. Meade, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born June 19, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Charles R. and Rita M. (Wilke) Fitzpatrick Sr. He has been a resident of the area since December 2017 coming from Miami. He was the Manager of Family & Emergency Services for Miami-Dade County. Charles enjoyed gardening, loved animals and fantasy football, he was a pottery, antique glass and coin collector, avid card player and a Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his daughter Kelly Marie Fitzpatrick of Chicago, IL, step sons Sean and Corbett Compel, sister Rita A. Reik and husband Curtis A. Reik of Ft. Meade, FL, brothers Michael Alan Fitzpatrick and Michael John Homovics and 2 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
