Charles Jack Brantley, 82

Charles J. Brantley of Frostproof, Florida passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born October 19, 1935 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Silas and Mabell (McKenzie) Brantley. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for 21 years in Polk County. Charles was a veteran in the United States Army and of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his brother Royce Brantley and sister Mary Hudson.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Brantley, daughter Jackie Miles and husband Jon of Tifton, GA, son Jimmy Brantley of Frostproof, FL, sister Carolyn Hunter of TX, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2018 until service time at 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Frostproof.
