Charles Robertson Allen, 37

Charles Robertson Allen of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Advent Health Lake Wales.

He was born October 9, 1983 in Lake Wales. Charles was a Cemex truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. He loved hunting, fishing, and his family. Charles was larger than life and an instigator. He enjoyed scaring people but was as sweet as a honey bear.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Mason. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Christy Allen; stepsons, Hunter Croft of Lake Wales, and Landon Croft of Lake Wales; father, Dwight Allen (Julie) of Frostproof; mother, Marcia Watson of Wesley Chapel; sister, Lisa Lioy of Wesley Chapel; brothers, Dwight Allen, Jr. of Frostproof, and Matt Allen of Ridge Manor; and grandchildren, Paisley and Madalyn.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Funeral Services at 2:00 PM with Rev. Johnnie Keen officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
