Cecil M. Zeke Sutfin of Frostproof passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at his residence.
He was born March 31, 1917 in St. Johns, MI to the late Ray and Blanche (Richards) Sutfin; and came to Frostproof from Charlotte, MI in 1999. He was retired owner/operator of Phillips 66 service station in Potterville, MI. He was a member of the Lion's Club in Potterville, MI, and was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Jerry Combs. Survivors include his wife, Betty "BJ" Sutfin; daughters, Shirley Sullivan of Luther, MI, and Jeanne Campbell of Lake George, MI; sons, Gary Sutfin of Sheperd, MI, and Michael Sutfin of Warren, MI; step-daughter, Carol Bostwick of Frostproof; step-son, Randy Combs of Detroit, MI; sister, Helen Parks of Georgia; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
