CECIL GUY RICHARDS, 92

Cecil G. Richards of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Palms of Sebring.

He was born December 12, 1925 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Grady and Ila (Whidden) Richards. He was a Correctional Officer for the State of Florida. Cecil was a veteran in the United States Army serving in WWII. He retired from the Army with 24 years of service as a Chief Warrant Officer.
He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Wooten Richards, sisters Connie Bolden, Ann Kensinger, brothers Willis Richards, Robert Richards and Larry Richards.

Survivors include his daughter Cecile Richards Sullivan and husband Gussie of Avon Park, FL, sons Stephen Allan Richards of Lake Wales, FL, Gary Foster and wife Yvette of Greensboro, GA, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
