Cecil E. Marsh of Winter Haven passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven.
He was born April 2, 1932 in Winter Haven to the late George and Pearl (Wireman) Marsh, and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired painter, a member of Dundee Baptist Church, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and loved hunting and fishing. He was a quiet man of family and faith.
Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Arrilla in 2007; twin daughters, Faye and Kaye Marsh. Survivors include daughters, Cindy Bullington of Winter Haven; Cecilia Szymusiak of Gillette, WY; Susie Brightwell of Winter Haven; brother, Cleo Marsh of Lake Wales; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Dundee Baptist Church, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Loughman.
