Carthell Grace Day

Carthell G. Day of Frostproof passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her residence.

She was born November 5, 1925 in Holmes County, AL to the late John B. & Victoria Stewart Grace; and moved here in 1947. She was a retired sectionizer/canner in the citrus industry and attended the Frostproof Church of God. She loved to crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lex Sam Day and a son, Charles Robert Day. Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ann D. Hadden (James) of Frostproof; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Frostproof Church of God. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
