Carolyn B. "Carol" Upchurch, 59, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born August 3, 1948 in Urbana, Ohio; she came here from Urbana 53 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Willa Jean Blue; and a son, N.O. Upchurch. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, John Upchurch; daughter, Ashley Upchurch, sons, Richie Upchurch; Buddy Upchurch; Joey Upchurch; N.O. Upchurch Jr.; and Jonathian Upchurch all of Lake Wales; brother, Rick Blue of Bartow; sisters, Linda Lewis of Lake Wales; Rebecca Blackwelder of Lake Wales; Lorrie Carter of Dundee; and ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
