Carolyn L. Lagasse

Carolyn J. Lagasse of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at her residence.

She was born May 26, 1939 in Gardiner, ME to the late John and Lena (Baitler) Murphy; and came to Lake Wales from Farmingdale, ME in 2005. She was a secretary in the entertainment (carnival) business, and was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Victor H. Lagasse; daughters, Lena May Hutchings and Victoria L. Thorne; and son, John C. Hutchings. Survivors include her daughters, Laura L. Hutchings of Damariscotta, ME, LeeAnna Hutchings of Nobleboro, ME, Katrina Thorne of Haverhill, MA, Autumn C. Lagasse of Augusta, ME; sons, George R. Hutchings of Kodiak Island, AK, Roland B. Thorne of Warren, ME; sister, Aleta Jackson of Kennebunk, ME; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
