Carole Jordan Chew of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

Born September 18, 1937 in Hialeah, FL; she came here 3 years ago from Hollywood, FL. She was a pharmaceutical technician and a member of the Nativity Catholic Church in Hollywood. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, enjoyed doing arts, traveling and making friends out of strangers.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Martin Chew of Lake Wales; daughter, Suzanne Evelyn Chew MacDonald of Davie, FL; sons, Martin Richard Chew of West Palm Beach, FL and Michael Dominic Chew of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brothers, Norman Raliegh Jordon of Miami, FL, Wayne Van Jordan of Umatilla, FL and Jack Cosmo Sylvia of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Tatum and MacKenzie MacDonald and Hailey and Taylor Chew; and special friend, Sue S. Bryant of Gaffney, SC.

Prayer service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales with Father Anthony Bluett officiating.
