Carol Ann McCoy, 86

Carol Ann McCoy of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her residence.

She was born July 11, 1936 in Beckley, West Virginia and grew up in Alabama She later moved to Frostproof and raised her family there. Carol was a retired waitress for the Frostproof Family Restaurant and of the Baptist faith. She loved her family, baseball games, and people. She attended New Hope Church in Frostproof and touched many lives. She will be missed by many.

Carol was preceded in death by her sons, Keith McCarter and Alan McCoy; grandson, Steve Wade McCarter; parents, Claude and Mary Sheridan; and eight siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Chatlos of Frostproof; son, Steve McCarter and wife Nancy of Babson Park; sister-in-law, Delilah Sheridan of Alabama; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
