Carol E. Johnson

Carol E. Johnson, 68 of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born on July 21, 1946 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Robert Henry and Edna Geneva (King) Knight and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker. Carol enjoyed crocheting, collecting frog figurines and stuffed frogs, she enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry and brother, William Robert Knight.

She is survived by her son, Brian E. Johnson and wife Jacki of Farmington, NH; sisters, Faye Buck of Opp, Alabama, Linda M. Todd of Avon Park, Dianne Bevins of Winter Haven; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrol Clemons officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
