BABSON PARK -- Mrs. Carol J. Godwin of Babson Park died of a brain aneurysm on Monday (May 15, 2006) at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was 62.

Born Feb. 18, 1944, in Kenton, Ohio, Mrs. Godwin moved to Babson Park from Bowling Green, Ohio, in 1980. She was a homemaker. She attended the First Baptist Church in Frostproof.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Royce K. Godwin; stepdaughter, Sue Ann Fox, Auburn, Ala.; stepsons, Kenny Godwin, Frostproof, Joe Godwin, Orlando; sisters, Mary Ann Bradley, Lima, Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the First Baptist Church Smith Building in Frostproof.
