WINTER HAVEN--Carol Conant, 93, of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at The Groves Center in Lake Wales.

Born October 4, 1914 in Battle Creek, MI; she was a winter resident of Lakeland since 1978 and made it her permanent home in 1999 coming from East Leroy, MI. She was retired from Kelloggs' and was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing and playing cards.

Carol was preceded by her husband, Elwood C. Conant in 2000; son, Dr. Roger A. Conant; and parents, Archie and Belle Clemence. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy M. Conant of Winter Haven; sister in laws, Margaret Miller of Battle Creek, MI; Margarite Conant of Athens, MI; three grandchildren Brenda Conant, Lori Neff, and Roger A. Conant; and three great-grandchildren, Amber, Allen and Jessica.

Funeral service and interment will take place under the direction of Royal Funeral Home in Battle Creek, MI.
