Carl Robert Roderick

Carl Robert Roderick, 87 passed away peacefully at The Meadows at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, FL, at 12:45 PM, on June 5, 2014.

He was born April 19, 1927 in Tuscola, Illinois to the late Courtney Carl and Opal Lucille ( Monroe) Roderick and has been a resident of the area since 1989 moving here from Hardy, Arkansas. He was a Clerk/Greeter for Walmart for 11 years and was a Security Guard for Citrus World for 5 years. He was a member of the High Point Church of Lake Wales. Carl was a veteran and served in the Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Roderick.
Survivors include his daughter, Janis Eversole and husband Roger; grandson Robert Eversole, all of Winter Haven; 3 siblings, brother Max Roderick of Thompson Station, TN, and sister Charlotte Strong of Washington, IL, and Naomi Wiseman of Lake Wales, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
