Calvin Ellis Maxwell

Calvin E. Maxwell, 89, passed away at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Born August 20, 1928 in Washington, GA, to the late Henry and Mamie (Fanning) Maxwell, he moved to Lake Wales
from Miami, FL.

He was a bookkeeper and worked up until he was 85 years old. He was a dedicated employee. He
loved going to concerts with his wife when they lived in Miami.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Maxwell; daughters Marilyn Benedict and husband Bennie of Lake Wales,
and Linda Cahill of Wauchula; sons Kenneth Maxwell and wife Jill of NC, Patrick Maxwell and wife Mariam of Chicago, IL,
Douglas Maxwell and wife Connie of Iowa and Calvin A. Maxwell of Lake Wales; 11 grandchildren and numerous
great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Maxwell on Monday, January 15, at 11:00 A.M. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home
Chapel in Lake Wales.
