LAKE WALES--C. David Tucker, 72, of Lake Wales died of heart failure Monday, May 28, 2007 at his residence.

Born April 02, 1935 in Wauchula, FL; he came here as a child. He was a retired citrus inspector for the Florida Department of Agriculture and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed target shooting, fishing, cooking and eating.

Survivors include his companion, Diane Tibado Martin of Lake Wales; daughters, Laura; son, Jonathon Tucker of Lake City; brothers, Harold R. Tucker of Winter Haven; James R. Tucker of Cary, NC; Bernard W. Tucker of Winter Haven; sisters, Naomi L. Sexton of Calhoun, GA; and Patricia J. Shope of Adairsville, GA.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 02, 2007 at the residence, 4328 Gilbert Road, Lake Wales. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of choice.
