LAKE WALES--Byron Welch, 56, of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 due to respiratory failure at Lake Wales Medical Center.
Born December 15, 1950 in Miami, FL; he came to Lake Wales from Stuart, FL. He was a retired truck driver for Indian River Transport and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of Viet Nam, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. and loved hunting. He was also an artist and enjoyed painting and drawing.
Byron was preceded by his parents, Herman & Ann Welch. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Welch of Lake Wales; daughters, Sharron Sue Welch of Miami; Kristin Renee Welch of Lake Wales; step-son, John Stanley of Tampa; brother, Donald Wayne Welch of Miami; sister, Linda Marcinek of Winter Haven; granddaughter, Keyanna La'Shay; and nieces, Merryann & Jennifer Fralick.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
