Buddy Freeman Shuman

Buddy Freeman Shuman of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
He was born January 17, 1939 in Frostproof to the late Dudley & Ollie (Whitlock) Cowart; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired iron worker in power plants, a member of the New Harvest Worship Center and a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Shirley Shuman; daughter, Teresa Hill of Augusta, GA; son, Jeffrey Allen Shuman of Lake Wales; and two grandchildren, Daniel and J.T.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Steve Livingston officiating.
