BRUCE  McGILL,  86

Bruce McGill of Babson Park passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home.

He was born February 18, 1936 in Lake Wales to the late Obie and Emma Faye McGill; and he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was retired from Peterson Industries, a member of the First Christian Church of Babson Park and lived to serve the Lord, always believed in his faith through Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the son of the living God. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 11 years. He loved fishing, Nascar, Indy races and formula 1. He was a member of the Sebring race events from 1949 - 2019.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Margarita McGill; daughters, Molly A. Lee (Tony) of Lake Wales, Carol Leigh Helms of Babson Park and Kayce Payne (Julio Micheli) of Pembroke Pines; son, Andrew Bruce McGill (Laura) of Orlando; sisters, Joanne Crumbley of Auburndale and Janice Conner of Lake Wales; brothers, Jerry B. McGill (Mary Beth) of Lake Wales, George E. McGill of Lake Wales and Michael McGill (Debbie) of Clermont; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at First Christian Church in Babson Park with Ronald Abshire officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
