Brittany Reneé Smith, 30

Brittany Reneé Smith of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at her residence.

She was born August 16, 1993 in Bartow; she was a lifelong resident of Polk County and moved to North Carolina three years ago. Brittany enjoyed listening to music, especially hip-hop and rap. She lived for her children and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Brittany was preceded in death by her son, Demonte Johnson, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Destiny Parker, Alicia Parker, Chassidy Parker, Brooklyn Parker, Deneshia Johnson, and Dream Johnson; mother, Heather Smith (Chris Hamilton) of Plant City; father, Chris Smith (Kimberly McDonald) of Davenport; sisters, Amber Smith of Plant City, Christie Smith of Plant City, and Emily Smith of Plant City; brothers, Dillan Smith (Jessie) of Antioch, Bryson Hamilton; paternal grandmother, Cecilia Mercer (Lyle); paternal grandfather, Bruce Smith (Vicki); uncle, BJ Smith; aunt, Lynn Roberts (John); step-sisters, Madia Stanford and Kodi Waide; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
