Brian F. Smith, 74

Brian F. Smith of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at his residence.

He was born March 17, 1948 in Danville, Pennsylvania to the late Harold and Jane Smith; he moved to Lake Wales from Pennsylvania in 2011. Brian was a retired production manager for James Springs and Wire Company in Chester County, Pennsylvania and a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed traveling the country with his wife and dogs in a motor home for over 40 years. Until recently, he was an active officer of Carlsberg Estates HOA.

Brian is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Smith; sisters, Diane Bremmer of Decatur, Tennessee, and Fonda Lynes and husband Brian of Hendersonville, North Carolina; and brother, Craig Smith and wife Debbie of Manchester, Kentucky.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
