Brenda Welch, 60 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Good Shepherd Hospice.

She was born August 9, 1954 in Lake Wales, Florida to Benny and Betty (Willis) Mauldin. She has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired waitress.

She is preceded in death by her husband Byron Welch, father Benny Mauldin and brother Roger Mauldin.

Survivors include her mother Betty Mauldin of Lake Wales, FL, daughter Kristin Renee Welch of Lake Wales, FL, son John Stanley Jr. of Tampa, FL, Sister Abigail Louie of Tampa, FL, Brothers David Stewart of Wauchula, FL, Ronnie Mauldin of Orlando, FL and 1 grandchild Keyanna Burgess.

Memorial Service will be held 3:30PM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home with David Stewart officiating.
