Brenda Joiner McDaniel, 68

Brenda Joiner McDaniel of Lake Wales passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at AdventHeath Lake Wales.

She was born December 2, 1953 in Lake Wales to the late Louie and Doris Joiner. Brenda was the retired owner and operator of All About Floors. She deeply loved her family, grandchildren, and her dog Gator. She was passionate about cooking and loved organizing family gatherings. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and shopping.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, James “Sonny” McDaniel; and son, Frederick “Rick” McDaniel. She is survived by her children, Mitsie Steedley Allsop of Winter Haven, Stephen Steedley and wife Cici of Lake Wales, Stacy McDaniel of Lake Wales, Murry McDaniel of Lake Wales, and James R. “Sonny” McDaniel Jr of Lake Wales; sister, Constance Jones and husband Sonny of Lake Wales; and 18 grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at Up at the Cross Church (318 S Scenic Highway, Lake Wales, Florida 33853) with Pastor Todd Rickman officiating.
