Brenda Sue Church, 68

Brenda Sue Church passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at her residence.

She was born November 6, 1955 in Houston, Texas to the late James and Oma Golden; she moved to Sebring from Banner, Mississippi in 2010. Brenda was a CNA. She was previously an insurance agent and a county clerk. Brenda enjoyed sitting in her swing while looking at the lake. She loved quilting by hand, hummingbirds, flowers, snowmen, and strawberry shortcakes.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Lawrence Church; daughter, Betty Jean Greathouse (Neal); son, John Mark Church (Tammy); sisters, Dorothy Mae Dozier and Mary “Ann” Golden; and brothers, James “Danny” Golden (Gigi), and David “Ricky” Golden (Linda).

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor Eddie Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
